Converting a light fixture to a power outlet can be done in two ways.
Usually if you are wiring a regular fixture you match the black to black wires and white to white but in this case my plug in came with two white wrapped wires so i didn t have that colour guidance.
The first way is really simple and doesn t require any electrical knowledge or understanding whatsoever.
The light fixture has a black or red wire which is a hot lead a white wire which is a neutral lead and sometimes a bare or copper wire which is a ground.

If there is no stud drill small holes into the drywall for screw anchors pound them in and screw the fixture into the anchors.
To do this you simply purchase a screw in adapter that will screw into your light socket like a light bulb but it will have a plug or two on the end of it.
